These are the topics recommended by Aleina badshah to be reviewed from
OHCM and OHCS

 

TOPICS THAT MUST BE DONE FROM OHCM:

1) RESPIRATORY SYSTEM:
1. Tests in chest medicine,
2. Pneumonia and specific pneumonias with causative agents,
3. Complications of pneumonia,
4. Lung tumors,
5. Asthma management,
6. COPD

– Again, other topics like cystic fibrosis, bronchiectasis, sarcoidosis etc
will be covered when u practise loads of questions, but do give a reading
from OHCM and try to keep all important points in mind regarding the
topics that I mentioned because these are volatile topic.

2) ENDOCRINOLOGY:
1. Treatment of diabetes and important cut-off values for FBS, RBS in
impaired glucose tolerance, and DM, and also normal FBS RBS ranges,
2. Interpretation of different TFTs,
3. Thyrotoxicosis,
4. Hypo- and hyper-parathyroidism,
5. Multiple endocrine neoplasias (MEN 1, 2a, 2b),

the exam.. So if u solve multiple mocks and papers.. These topics will
be covered sufficiently…No need to do them from oxford if u can’t
manage
