The College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (Headquarter) Karachi is organizing the
97th Advance Basic Medical Science Course for FCPS-I candidates from Monday 17th July
2017 to Saturday 26th August 2017 at CPSP Headquarter Karachi.
The students from upcountry may enroll for hostel accommodation on First come First serve
Basis for available hostel seats. However arrangements could be made for online video
course to other centers in case the students can’t join at Karachi with reduced fee of Rs
10,000.
This Basic Medical Science Course for FCPS-I is useful for all the FCPS-I candidates
who are appearing in eleven disciplines of the FCPS-I examination e.g. Anesthesia,
Dentistry, Diagnostic Radiology, Medicine & Allied, Obstetrics & Gynecology,
Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), Pathology, Psychiatry, Surgery &
Allied, Community Medicine.
The Course covers the topics of Anatomy, Physiology/Biochemistry, Pharmacology,
Pathology and its Sub-specialities i.e. Chemical Pathology, Hematology,
Immunology/Virology, Microbiology and Parasitology. The Course covers the core
knowledge of Basic Medical Subjects besides guidelines of the respective disciplines.

CPSP admits a limited number of candidates in the Course on First-Come, FirstServe
basis. Interested candidates are advised to register at the earliest by Saturday
15th, July 2017 along with a Bank Challan/Pay Order/ Demand Draft in the name of
‘College of Physicians & Surgeons Pakistan’.
